Holger Jacobs is a German-English typographer and graphic designer. He studied communication design at St. Martin's College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art in London. Since 2011, he has been a professor of typography at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (HSD). For 20 years, Holger Jacobs ran a multidisciplinary graphic design studio, Mind Design, in London. However, on his 50th birthday in 2017, he largely stepped away from commercial work to focus more on teaching and research at the intersection of language and typography.
