    Exact content of the file:
    Page 1: name, portrait photo, name of chosen programme, email address

    Page 2: place and date of birth; list of studies (schools, majors/specializations, masters, clubs, etc.); list of awards, competitions, exhibitions, workshops, etc.

    Page 3: A few sentences describing your motivation for choosing this programme.

    Pages 4-13: Artworks; a selection of your independent work to date, in any genre, on a maximum of 10 landscape A4 pages. (Each page may contain several images/photos and captions. It is not mandatory to fill all 10 pages; fewer pages are also acceptable.)

    Pages 14-23: Studies (in any genre: e.g., sculpture, drawing, painting); maximum 10 pages arranged in landscape A4 format. (One page may contain multiple images/photos and captions. It is not mandatory to fill all 10 pages; fewer pages are also acceptable.)

    Page 24: For moving image content, links should be provided on the page. (This content is optional, not mandatory.)

Overview

The training aims to educate autonomous visual artists who use artistic tools and techniques in a variety of ways, who respond to the present with a critical attitude, and who integrate into the artistic activity and research of disciplines far from the field of fine arts. By developing their creative methods, the choice of means of expression during the realization of the visual concept supports the artistic content and vision. Mastering conscious creative processes prepares them for further training in doctoral studies.

The admission consists of two stages:

Stage 1: The selection board will view the uploaded application documents:

  • Curriculum vitae in English language
  • Motivation letter of at least half a page describing why you chose this programme
  • Portfolio – include minimum of 10 autonomous works of art and at least 5 studies; a selection of previous autonomous works, in any genre;
  • Studies (in any genre: e.g. sculpture, drawing, painting).

Stage 2: Admission interview: an assessment of knowledge in the field of contemporary Hungarian and international art.
