Overview

The purpose of the course is to train visual artists who, through transdisciplinary education, become autonomously thinking creators. Based on their methodology, develop their activity primarily by formulating visual reflections of contemporary phenomena. They are able to use the widest range of complex tools in the visual arts, and they have the technical and material knowledge with which they can find the most suitable tools and methods for their ideas and intuitions during the creation of works of art.

The admission consists of two stages:

Stage 1: The selection board will view the uploaded application documents:

  • Curriculum vitae in English language
  • Motivation letter of at least half a page describing why you chose this programme
  • Portfolio – minimum of 5 artistic works; a selection of previous autonomous works, in any genre;
  • studies (in any genre: e.g. sculpture, drawing, painting).

Stage 2: Admission interview: an assessment of knowledge in the field of contemporary Hungarian and international art.
