The picturesque, leafy park of Epreskert is home to sculptures, Neo-Renaissance studio buildings and historic architectural gems, offering a unique retreat from the bustle of the city.
During the tour, you can discover the exceptional architectural treasures and artistic heritage hidden among the trees, while Bóka B. László brings to life the more than century-old stories and legends of Epreskert.
The tour takes place in rainy weather as well.

Meeting point: At the entrance to Epreskert, at the corner of Bajza utca and Kmety György utca, 5 minutes before the start.
Getting there
By metro: M1 (Millennium Underground) – Bajza utca station. From there, it is a 4–5-minute walk along Bajza utca to the intersection with Szondi utca.
By bus: Bus 105 – Bajza utca or Rippl-Rónai utca stop. The bus runs between the city centre, Heroes’ Square and Buda.
By trolleybus: Trolleybus 72M or 73M – Bajza utca / Szondi utca stop. From there, it is approximately a 3-minute walk to the entrance of Epreskert.
On foot: Epreskert is approximately an 8–10-minute walk from Heroes’ Square, via the Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle. It can also be reached from Bajza utca or Dózsa György út.
Our tours require a minimum of 4 participants. If fewer than 4 people register, the tour will not take place. Registered participants will be notified in advance if the tour is cancelled.
