For Stipendium Hungaricum; Diaspora Scholarship holders

Stipendium Hungaricum and Diaspora Scholarship holders can apply to stay at the university’s dormitory during their scholarship period.
You must fill out the application form and send it back to the Head of the Dormitory and to the Stipendium Hungaricum Coordinator by the 12th of August. For the application form, please contact the coordinator: sh.coordinator@mke.hu

Please note that if you opt to stay in the dormitory, you won't be eligible for the accommodation grant, even though the dorm room itself is free of charge.

For Erasmus

Due to the limited space capacities, we are not able to accommodate Erasmus+ students in the dormitory of our university. International students have to organize accommodation on their own.

You can find a room or an apartment with the help of websites or you can join Facebook pages and groups where you can find students in the same situation. Many Erasmus+ students arrive in Budapest to study at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts or at other universities. They are all looking for accommodation for 1 or 2 semesters so if you are only able to rent a big flat, you can share it with others.

We can help you by sharing the contact of some accommodation providers and two Facebook groups too, but please note that we don’t have a contract with them, we don’t collaborate with them, and we don’t assume any responsibility regarding their business activity.
