Az EU4ART Európai Egyetem egy transznacionális campus létrehozása érdekében 2019-ben alakult szövetség, négy képzőművészeti egyetem részvételével: Academia di Belle Arti di Roma abaroma.it; Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden www.hfbk-dresden.de; Latvijas Makslas Akademija Riga www.lma.lv; Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem www.mke.hu. A szövetség vezető intézménye a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem.

A szövetség célja, hogy a hallgatók egy közös oktatási és kutatási (EU4ART_differences) program keretében végezhessék tanulmányaikat a négy tagegyetem transznacionális campusán. A harmonizált közös mintatanterv, ami jelenleg a festészet, grafika és szobrászat szakterületeket fedi le, egy hároméves, 2019-ben indult pilot projekt keretében került kidolgozásra. A partneregyetemek és tágabb kulturális környezetük közötti mobilitási és együttműködési lehetőségek jelentős előnyökkel járnak a hallgatók, a tanári kar és a szélesebb közösség számára is.

Az EU4ART az Erasmus+ program támogatásával, az Európai Unió Európai Egyetemek kezdeményezésének köszönhetően jöhetett létre.

The EU4ART European University Alliance was established in 2019 to create a transnational campus with the participation of four fine art universities: Academia di Belle Arti abaroma.it; Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden www.hfbk-dresden.de; Latvijas Makslas Akademija Riga www.lma.lv; Hungarian University of Fine Arts www.mke.hu. The leader of the alliance is the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.

The aim of the alliance is to enable students to study in the framework of a common educational and research (EU4ART_differences) programme at the transnational campus of the four universities. A common flexible curriculum in the field of painting, graphics and sculpture has been elaborated within a three-year-long pilot project. The new mobility opportunities and the numerous innovative ways of cooperation with the allied partner universities are bringing significant benefits to the students, the teaching staff, the external stakeholders, and to the larger public in the involved cultural regions alike.

The EU4ART project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme in connection with the European Universities initiative and the new strategy for the European Education and Research Area.
