HUFA’s Mentored Artists Present Their Work at Vienna Parallel for the First Time
For the first time this year, ten mentored artists from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, all of whom graduated with distinction, presented their work at Vienna Parallel, an international contemporary art event held at the Otto Wagner Areal from September 9–13. Their works brought together fresh, experimental approaches to classical artistic genres.
The presentation was also visited by Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi, Ambassador of Hungary to Austria, and Dr. Márton Méhes, Director of Collegium Hungaricum Vienna. Prof. Dr. István Erős, Rector of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, welcomed them together with the participating artists.
Participating artists:
Dorina Boros · Eszter Nóra Dicső · Dormán Farkas · Holli Ivády · Lilla Kozma · Kíra Krász · Ágota Magyar · Marcell Marosfalvi · Ditta Sarfenstein · Gabriella Városi
Participation in Vienna Parallel was an important milestone in the professional support provided through the MKE Mentorship Programme, strengthening the young artists’ international presence and professional visibility.
Congratulations to our former students on their successful presentation!
