István Erőss: “BORROWED IDENTITIES” – Exhibition at the Liszt Institute, Delhi
As part of the India Art Fair in Delhi, the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre opened a solo exhibition by István Erőss, rector of HUFA, titled Borrowed Identities on February 6.
The exhibition features photographs created during his travels across Africa, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Mexico and India, depicting the body as a bearer of cultural identities. Some of the works stand alone as individual pieces, while others document actions and performances; the videos serve as counterparts to specific still images.
